Overall Job Description: Living and working together as a team to accomplish the responsibilities of the hostel, while creating a comfortable, sparkly clean atmosphere for ourselves and our guests. We are looking for an individual who has the attention to detail, commitment to their work, and the “wanderlust” to explore.

Hiring Dates: Arrival to hostel in early-mid April, date flexible.

Expectations and Responsibilities:
– Be available and committed for at least 3 months
– Work 4-5 shifts a week (5-6 hours per shift)
– Providing answers and information about the local area, restaurants, hikes, and adventures to our guests
– Checking emails regularly and responding with promptness and professionalism
– Making reservations correctly and concisely
– Updating social media with new pictures, stories, and events
– Checking guests in and receiving payments, drawer management
– Participating in our group deep cleans of the hostel – there are 2 per year, one in the fall and one in the spring
– Daily maintenance of an exceptionally clean hostel
– Watering and gardening in the summer 🙂 shoveling and making fires in the winter 🙂
